GT Cup Series enters a new era

Starting with the 2025 season, the long-running sports car championship will adopt a new name – GT Cup Series. This rebranding follows twelve successful years of partnership with ESET, which initially committed to a three-year sponsorship in 2013 but ultimately remained a key supporter for over a decade.

Despite the name change, GT Cup Series will continue in its established format. The promoter is committed to maintaining the championship’s continuity and high level of competition that both teams and drivers have come to expect. The overall structure of the series remains unchanged.

To enhance the fan experience, a brand-new broadcast platform, GT TV, will be launched, providing live coverage of all GT Cup Series races as well as an archive of past seasons. GT TV will be available through a Slovakian television provider, with more details on broadcast availability to be announced soon.

“We would first like to express our deep gratitude to Rudolf Hrubý, Peter Paško, and the entire ESET team for their long-standing support, which has been instrumental in the championship’s growth. At the same time, we are excited for the upcoming season under the GT Cup Series banner. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the teams and delivering thrilling racing action. Our goal remains to uphold the championship’s high standards. We appreciate your support as we embark on this new era and are confident that together, we will enjoy many successful seasons ahead,” reads the official GT Cup Series statement.
